Pet Focused Design: Built with the Patients Considered First PDF Print E-mail

Our new animal hospital is the result of an evolution of 20 years of planning by Dr. Sarah and Dr. Phil and every step of the way the pet was considered first. It is hard to explain this without a tour so please visit us in person or take a virtual tour at RiverRidgeVets.com so we can show you what we mean but in the meantime we will give a few examples. The design is in every way possible trying to minimize the typical nervous nature of veterinary visits for pets. Everything from the waiting room and exam rooms to the treatment and surgery areas are made to avoid stresses. Our hospital wards and boarding rooms encourage privacy and have lots of natural light with outdoor exercise areas a few steps away from each location. In our boarding area we even have an indoor exercise area for when the weather does not cooperate. In many ways we try to use technology to help such as digital radiology which avoids retakes of X- Rays and laser surgery minimizing pain. Lastly we have built in a backup generator that will allow us to operate our hospital and keep the pets under our care safe and comfortable even if the power goes out. We hope that the many other details that are pet focused but not directly noticed help to make your pet happy to come to the veterinarian or at least less nervous.
