We have built this hospital with an eye to the future. Multiple features have been included in the design to make it easy for us to add some significant services in the future. We have plans that make it possible to offer 24 hour care to the Sauk Valley in the near future. We hope to work with other area veterinary hospitals to help to improve a shortfall in pet care in our area. We have also designed an indoor exercise area that will be used by local obedience trainers and as an indoor exercise area for boarding pets in bad weather. It also can in the future be used as an animal rehabilitation room for orthopedic surgery recovery and geriatric pet care. We also envision dog day care if our clients feel it is a service they would desire. We have also built our entire hospital to be AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited. We hope in the coming months to complete the paper work and details to become the areas only AAHA accredited animal hospital. This is the only standard of care based of accreditation in our profession and requires the highest levels of procedural and medical standards in our profession.
